Arty-Farty

I’m so stoned now. And I haven’t been blogging regularly.

I got so many random thoughts now.

1. I’ve been watching so many movies, and I caught 2 arty-farty ones: My Blueberry Nights directed by Wong Kar Wai (not too bad) and Breath (seriously can forget about watching it). Steven don’t want to watch movies with me anymore, we have a good run of stupid shows we watched together. And from now on I shall never watch movies that got selected for Cannes Festival.

2. My boss scam me. He made me come in to work for 2 days this week and said the pay was included in last week’s. I am super sian diao. He SCAMMED me! $180 can do a lot of things leh! ****

3. I actually watched a lot of shows that I realised there’s nothing much I can watch anymore. I already watched Warlords, I Am Legend, Chipmunks, Golden Compass, Breath, My Blueberry Nights, National Treasure. Oh man, I really love movies!

4. My Korea thingy is a big project man. I haven’t got around to fooling around with the “teach myself korean language” thingy, need to apply visa, need to do up my course selections for approval, need to buy air ticket, need to wire money to pay for my dorm, need to get winter clothes, need to find a bigger luggage (the bigger the better-er), need to find out how to survive there without getting myself dead broke. And I need to start socializing with those dudes who just got back from exchange in Korea.

5. Oh I need to spend less. I busted $1000 in 2 weeks!

6. Meeting up with the ex-KhattarWong colleagues/bimbo friends for life later. I got them pressies! And I haven’t seen Eeling in the longest time! Didn’t meet up with her the last time she came back from Aussie. Oh I miss her nonsense. 

7. I am getting fat. Office job is not good.

8. Oh I got new love eating places now. The first time I went Marutama Ramen at Central (3rd floor) didn’t really like it. But went again twice and I really really falling in love with the ramen la. Ooooh, give me ramen anytime! And Steven just brought me to Geylang Lor 8’s Mongkok Dim Sum. Oooooh, very delicious! They have butter soft shell crab! I like!

9. I have been going out so much after exams ended, all those things I wanted to do, like watching Ugly Betty, is probably only achievable when I go Korea. Haha. I just don’t like to sit still sometimes.

10. Boy got me an Espirit watch for Christmas and I love it so much! Big faced and bronzy looking. Finally a new watch after 2 years of hiatus.

11. I’m feeling nostalgic about so many things these days. I wonder if my days are numbered? HAHA. There’s seldom places that make me feel at home. But some that leave some nice memories. Like Far East Mechmaster! Just realised it was closed down when Boy and me wanted to go play CS. And that Suki Ramen place at Cine was gone. And remembered Cine used to have those neoprint machines at the 2nd level but now its taken over by some crap cafe. And many other things. But glad I got a good friend back into my life now, though its just catching up over lunch every other week.

Alrights, that’s the end of a long run of random thoughts.

Ah its gonna be the end of a year again. Time passes really fast. I can’t believe I’m hitting TWENTY-FOUR next year. I just turned 23 lor. Grrr. Need to get acquainted with those botox things in time to come.

As usual I have a list of thank-yous due to be blogged. Shall do it another day before 1st Jan 2008.

I actually miss that irritating thing.
