I was crushed by my MA mid-term paper. It was so difficult. And he had maybe more than 3 versions of the paper circulating so there’s no way we can double-check our answer. Note: I didn’t say copy. My Prof who graduated from Harvard is damn smart la! I can imagine him having a tattoo of a dragon on his back beneath all that fatherly disguise.
Anyway I was quite bored after the paper, my Prof is yakking on and Suzi is trying to explain to me things which I’m already lost in. And I just wikied for Aung San Suu Kyi, the political prisoner in Myanmar, been reading a bit about her on the papers and I wanted to know how she got her Nobel Peace Prize. I just realised the award comes with a whooping USD 1.3 million!
Anyway the My Paper (我报)is quite interesting although usually I have a bad habit of scanning through a sea of Chinese words. That’s why I didn’t bother to read the 晚报 that my parents buy. And I think its just filled with a lot of gossips, bizzare ghostly experience in Malaysia, which actress just faked her boobs and what not (just my own opinion), and most importantly, 4D results! But nevertheless, I want to make it a point to read more current news as I haven’t been since I got into SMU.
I am damn stressed cos’ I haven’t start studying for Game Theory. Been wasting too much time on the other 2 papers. Although its my mid-term break next week, I’m filled with homework (IO’s 20 questions-maths based), project meetings, and work.
I really want to graduate by end of next year! Which means, I shouldn’t bother to do internship anymore.
I suddenly feel so bad when my Prof said, “its quite boring right?” and he look so sad cos’ not many people are listening.
